Market Street and the conservation area have Georgian and Victorian buildings, many of them listed, with larger detached homes on the roads out of town and several big new-build estates on the north and west sides.
Being in the National Forest means a lot of young and mature trees close to homes, so Ashby gutters fill with leaves, seeds and twigs every year, especially near Hood Park and the Willesley side. With this much tree cover, most Ashby-de-la-Zouch homes are best cleaned every autumn after the leaves drop, and again in spring if a tree overhangs the roof.
Many Ashby homes are close to young National Forest woodland, where birch and alder seeds blow into gutters in spring. A spring clean as well as an autumn one helps.
Ladder-free cleaning means no marks on render, no cracked gutters and no risk to your property. If a downpipe is blocked part-way down, we clear it as part of the same visit. There's no need to be home — the photos show you exactly what we removed.
